Marcela & Arthur Engagement Session | San Gabriel Mission | Downtown Los Angeles Photo Engagement Session | Sixth Street Bridge
We had the pleasure of meeting Marcela and Arthur through our previous Bride -- the beautiful Michelle! : ) Thanks Michelle & Kenny for the connection. Michelle and Marcela are really close friends and we're super excited to have them both as our new friends. When Arthur saw Marcela for the first time several years ago in Century City, it was love at first sight for him. He knew instantly that Marcela was the Woman of his dreams. The gorgeous Marcela, of course, thought he was cute but played a little hard to get at first. Arthur pursued her and didn't give up, until finally Marcela went out on a date with him and the sparks ignited. We photographed their engagement session at San Gabriel Mission and at the 6th street bridge. Marcela and Arthur were super sweet with one another during our session. Arthur has a love for cars (as you will see below) so we of course incorprated his '63 baby Blue Convertible Chevy Impala in the photos. I'm really excited to share these photos with you and wish everyone a blessed Valentine's Day!!
p.s. Happy Valentine's Day!!

Peruvian Amazon Engagement Session | Unique Photography | Destination Wedding Photographer | South American Photo Shoot
Happy New Year Peeps! Solana and I are so happy and excited for the 2011 Wedding Season and all the exciting love stories that we get to capture in 2011! We are ready to ROCK. Last year, we were so blessed to have a truly magical year filled with so many beautiful, beautiful, wedding couples, that we can now call our dear friends! Thank you to each and every one of you for allowing us to photograph your wedding and for being a part of our lives. We are truly grateful to be able to do what we love doing -- Wedding Photography! We are ready for an abundant and love-filled 2011.
Last year I traveled to the Peruvian Amazon and was given the opportunity to stay on my friends 500-acre preserve. This experience was something I will not soon forget. It was very challenging and also very powerful. I lived in the jungle, no hotel, no luxury, no running water and no electronics or materical objects. This was a chance for me to be with myself and nature and to focus on all the things that I am grateful for. I learned so much about myself, as well as all the day-to-day blessings that I take for granted. I am so appreciative to my good friend, D, for allowing me to visit his rainforest preserve in Peru. What an amzing experience! I would like to share a few photos that I took of him and Marcie - This is what I call a "Jungle Session!!!"
p.s. Don't try this at home kids ;)

Wendy & Erasmo | The Getty Center | Engagement Session | Brentwood | West Los Angeles | Santa Monica Mountains | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Wendy and Erasmo's engagement session in the Santa Monica Mountains and Brentwood! It was a beautiful, brisk day as we rode up the tram to the lovely Getty Center, which is where we began their photo session. The fun, love and laughs that this unique couple shares is quite special. I met Wendy through her sister, Andrea, who's wedding I also shot (Click here to view Andrea & Mauricio's Images). A big shout out to Andrea! : )
We had a lot of fun running around the westside and believe me when I tell you that the laughs were endless, thanks to Erasmo! Wendy & Erasmo share a special bond that is gentle and caring and I feel that I was able to capture these moments in my images as they were occurring... Enjoy!
