WPPI & Magic, Las Vegas 2009

Last week my wife and I took a trip to Las Vegas for WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) & the MAGIC expo, 2 of the years biggest networking events! FYI... these 2 conventions are completely separate from one another but share 2 things that I'm passionate about, wedding photography and fashion! Below are some photos of our trip and behind the scenes images of WPPI & Magic!

As you can see... we started off our road trip on Sunday afternoon on an open highway. Three hours later we ended up in stand still traffic (see first image below). If you look up the middle of the image you can follow the headlights about 2 miles back!

Viva Las Vegas!

The Las Vegas Strip...

Good Morning! Although we prefer Peets Coffee, Starbucks will do just fine!

WPPI was held at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino's Conference Center

Lets just say... it was a long walk!

WPPI is a great way for photographers to get up on the latest technology so that we may provide our clients with state of the art services.

This was our friends booth, FuriousPhotographers. They've invented one of the coolest photo booths I've ever seen. Stay tuned for more info on the plexi-glass booth that everyone is talking about!

MGM Grand lobby - now that's entertainment!

Myself, my wife Solana, and our friends Adrienne & Scott.

In case of midnight snack attack... calmly tear open at edges! : )

MAGIC!

The images that you see advertised below at the XCVI , are pictures that my good friend Henry Chen took. They were blown up 6' or so and placed on the outside of the booth for potential buyers to view upcoming styles!

@ Henry Chen - I want to thank you for checking out my site and for checking out my blog. LOL!!!
A little inside joke between my friend Henry and I : )

Every booth at MAGIC is unique and designed to showcase the newest apparel

Here you see 2 buyers negotiating and buying bulk product direct from the vendor. Just sign on the dotted line!

Vegas was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to returning soon!
