Chrystal and Jared | Telluride, Colorado Wedding | The Peaks Resort & Spa | Telluride Wedding Photographer

Miguel and I have been looking forward to Chrystal and Jared's fabulous Wedding in Telluride, Colorado for what felt like FOREVER!!  We photographed their engagement session back in September 2010, so you can only imagine the anticipation.  We were so excited to embark on the adventure of capturing their special wedding weekend in Telluride.  Nestled in a box canyon surrounded by majestic, 13,000-foot peaks of the San Juan Mountains, the Town of Telluride is filled with colorful legends, over a century of history and Rocky Mountain spirit.  Just six blocks wide and twelve blocks long, the National Historic District is a window into the town's illustrious past and a showcase of spirited individualism and community pride.  Miguel and I loved every corner of the town!  We found the cutest restaurants, local boutiques, coffee shops, etc. and the locals are so warm and humble.  There is absolutely no "wrong" place to take a photograph in Telluride - because the entire town is that fantastic!  The ceremony and Wedding reception took place at the stunning Peaks Resort and Spa in Mountain Village.  Then Miguel and I stole Chrystal and Jared away (haha, we love doing this with our couples) in our red PT Cruiser rental car (I promise I didn't crash into that sign Chrystal - LOL) and photographed them along the magnificent backdrop provided by mother nature.  Chrystal and Jared's family and friends were all so welcoming and loving to us.  They made us feel like we were part of the family from the moment we arrived and we are eternally grateful for that.  It was such an amazing experience and we are so honored and blessed that we were both able to be part of such a MAGICAL wedding weekend! Mari & Efrain | Arcadia Engagement Session | Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden | Arcadia Wedding Photography

When I met Mari and Efrain, I immediately saw the amazing love that they have for each other. They are 2 of the most genuine people I have ever met! At our initial meeting, Efrain told me that he wanted their wedding photography to be out of this world. He wanted to make sure that Mari would have her dream wedding. This is another beautiful trait that I love about them -- they have such deep care and respect for one another. Mari and Efrain love photography and wanted to incorporate something different and unique into their engagement photos, that would encapsulate nature and beauty. The Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Arcadia served as the perfect backdrop for this amazing couple. I even arranged to have our own private golf cart limousine (it was a super long golf cart - hee hee) drive us around! We were VIP!!!  The Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a unique 127 acre botanical garden and historical site jointly operated by the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and located in the city of Arcadia. Home to plant collections from all over the world, including many rare and endangered species, The Arboretum also houses outdoor historical landmarks representative of the major phases of California history. California represent! Mari and Efrain even found their very own tree that they were connected to. Let me know if you can guess which one it is?!?! : )
