Miguel and I have been looking forward to Chrystal and Jared's fabulous Wedding in Telluride, Colorado for what felt like FOREVER!! We photographed their engagement session back in September 2010, so you can only imagine the anticipation. We were so excited to embark on the adventure of capturing their special wedding weekend in Telluride. Nestled in a box canyon surrounded by majestic, 13,000-foot peaks of the San Juan Mountains, the Town of Telluride is filled with colorful legends, over a century of history and Rocky Mountain spirit. Just six blocks wide and twelve blocks long, the National Historic District is a window into the town's illustrious past and a showcase of spirited individualism and community pride. Miguel and I loved every corner of the town! We found the cutest restaurants, local boutiques, coffee shops, etc. and the locals are so warm and humble. There is absolutely no "wrong" place to take a photograph in Telluride - because the entire town is that fantastic! The ceremony and Wedding reception took place at the stunning Peaks Resort and Spa in Mountain Village. Then Miguel and I stole Chrystal and Jared away (haha, we love doing this with our couples) in our red PT Cruiser rental car (I promise I didn't crash into that sign Chrystal - LOL) and photographed them along the magnificent backdrop provided by mother nature. Chrystal and Jared's family and friends were all so welcoming and loving to us. They made us feel like we were part of the family from the moment we arrived and we are eternally grateful for that. It was such an amazing experience and we are so honored and blessed that we were both able to be part of such a MAGICAL wedding weekend! Thank you Jan, Chrystal and Jared for everything you did for us!! xoxo
OMG! These photos are astonishing, you guys are extremely talented. My favorite is the one where the couple is standing in the middle of the town, beautiful!

ReplyDeleteWow - what a phenomenal job Miguel and Solana!!! These pictures turned out so beautiful, I even got a little teary-eyed when I first saw them. Looking at these pictures brings me back to that joyous day, the happiest day of my life! I'm SO glad that you were able to capture so many wonderful memories that we can look back on. Jared and I are so grateful that you guys were able to be in Telluride to not only shoot our wedding, but also to share our special day with us. You two are an extremely talented team, and such an inspiration to me. We love you!

I am truly in awe over your creativity, color and textures in your photography. You both make such a great team and anyone who is lucky enough to have you take their pictures is so very fortunate!
