Lily and Chris | Long Beach Engagement Session | Japanese Gardens & The Lighthouse

When we had our initial meeting with Lily and Chris at Urth Cafe many months ago, Miguel and I left the meeting saying to each other, "They are a super sweet couple!" And today, we couldn't agree more. We had a jolly old time shooting their engagement session in Long Beach. We began at The Japanese Gardens - it was the perfect setting to start the shoot off right!  Beautiful, colorful and romantic.  Then we went to Bluff Park where Chris surprised Lily with a picnic lunch and wine.  Good move Chris!! : ) We then headed down to the beach and got our feet in the sand (and the water)!   I am so glad that our photos were able to capture the playfulness, fun and romance that followed.  We ended at The Lighthouse, where the clouds and the sky were both masterpieces for our cameras.  In fact, we all had such a great time, that after the engagement session photo shoot, the 4 of us went out to dinner afterwards.  Good times!  Lily and Chris ~ we are thrilled to call you both our friends and we are so looking forward to photographing your Wedding in Pasadena next month!  xoxo  

Sarah & Ryan | Long Beach Weddings | The Reef on the Water Restaurant | Real Weddings

Put together 2 love birds who met on a blind date, a romantic rooftop ceremony over looking the Long Beach skyline and a wonderful group of guests and family members and you get Sarah and Ryan's Wedding day! The Reef on the Water in Long Beach was the perfect setting for this special occasion. I truly enjoyed capturing the love and compassion shared between Sarah and Ryan. The skies opened up for us thankfully, because that morning, it was gloomy and gray. By the time the ceremony began, we had beautiful blue skies. I'd like to thank my good friend, Amaury, for connecting us with Sarah and Ryan. Also, a shout out to my Wifey, Solana, of Beauty by Solana for once again doing fantastic Makeup on the Bride and all the other ladies.
