Chrystal & Jared | Venice Beach Engagement Session | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer | Venice Photographer

When Solana and I met Chrystal and Jared there was an instant connection - there were sparks! LOL! No, for real, there were. We knew instantly when meeting them, that we would remain friends for life! They are a super cool couple. Chrystal is beautiful, funny, smart and down to earth. Jared is creative, funny, outgoing and he loves to boogie board and hit the waves (just like me!). Chrystal and Jared met on Myspace. Yes, Myspace! We joked with them that Myspace was old news and it was all about Facebook now. But to them...Myspace brought them together. : ) This is the first couple that Solana and I have met, who made a love connection through Myspace, so I must say that we now have a new found respect for Myspace! Give it up for Myspace people. The four of us had a fantastic time shooting their engagement session and the day flew by! We can't wait to shoot Chrystal & Jared's Destination Wedding in the beautiful town of Telluride, Colorado!!!

Lauren & Steven - Engagement Session -The Arboretum - Arcadia

Let me start off by saying that Lauren & Steven are 2 of the most sincere and sweet people I have ever met! They are both hard working and dedicated school teachers (which we could use more of) in the Corona area. We originally met at a coffee shop in Long Beach back in February and got to know each other for several hours. We then sealed the deal for their upcoming wedding this month on the spot! Lauren & Steven decided they wanted their engagement session to be shot at the Arboretum in Arcadia. Weather wise...I believe it was one of the hottest days we've had all year. Steven wore an extremely sharp black suit and Lauren was so daring and wore her beautiful wedding gown a month 'before' her wedding day. What troopers! They were unstoppable and didn't hold back in any of their images! They were very easy to shoot and needed very little direction. We had a wonderful time and we joked and laughed while being driven around in a golf cart by one of the grounds supervisors. I would also like to give a special shout out to Lauren's Mom, Mrs. Rosenwald, for all of your help and attention to detail! Thanks Lauren & Steven, I had a blast and I can't wait to photograph your special day later this month!
